Rock n' Roll weekend May 4th,5th,and 6th 2007

Spring is around the corner…It’s time to kick it. Now there’s some Rock n’ Roll talk!

Out of the Box Adventures (www.outoftheboxadventures.com) is hosting this ride till you drop/ rock till you drop weekend.

 

You arrive May 4th (Friday night) and check into the most unique hotel in Kamloops. (www.plazaheritagehotel.com) Located in the heart of Kamloops makes this a perfect fit for a weekend away.

  

Saturday morning will see the staff from Kamloops Bike Camp www.kamloopsbikecamp.com  pick you up and head across the street for breakfast at Hello Toast. (Great sidewalk restaurant)

Now to the lake!!!! Quick drive out to Little Shuswap and KBC’s private mountain bike facility. We have trails for all levels of riders so don’t be intimidated. We’ll be riding all day, lunch on the mountain, swim in the lake after and then back to Kamloops. The Plaza will be refueling us before the night out on the town.

 

We will be heading to the newest rock club. The Loft is a private recording studio that seats 60 people. Perfect setting to check out one of the great bands from the interior. This is being hosted by Out of the Box. After the show? We are trained athletes? We go until you’ve had enough but remember… Sunday is more riding!!! Yea Baby!!!

 

We start Sunday the same way we started Saturday… Hello Toast!!! Back to the lake. We might even spend the day riding in Kamloops since we are famous for our trails!!!

 

I can feel the rush from this weekend already. We are offering limited seating for this one so get your weekend booked and remember… you better book Monday off…just so you can let it sink in and…RECOVER!!!

Escape from the everyday grid with a four day / three night, weekend get away..

Kettle Valley Railway We start by meeting at the Hotel Eldorado. We'll get you checked in then we head out to some of the local wineries to get a 'taste' of the Kelowna region. We'll return to the 'El' for a delightful 4 coarse meal prepared specially for Out of the Box by Chef Bradley J. Thompson.

Friday morning embarking on our bike part of the package. We drive up out of the Okanagan valley and unloading our full suspension mountain bikes for a ride down into Naramata on the scenic Kettle Valley Railroad.

Friday night at the Naramata is Jazz and Blues night. Live music in a magical setting will help erase all the stress from everyday living. Chef Grant de Montreuil will dazzle us with his ,all organic, locally grown 5 course meal. Imagine, a dining experience of a life time, with the back drop of live music, setting sun over Lake Okanagan, and one of the most unique accommodation on the Lake. Talk about forgetting life back home.
